Bulk Grass Silage – Fine Chop or Loader Wagon

Fine chop grass silage is a cost-effective way to process and store your excess grass through the spring/summer period. We are set up to provide you with an efficient, top quality, full service. We run four John Deere Forage Harvesters teamed with Bergmann Trailers or Trucks and we also have two Loader Wagons for your on-farm silage requirements. These Loader Wagons are high capacity, efficient machines that produce good cut quality and can cover ground quickly. We also trade grass silage and have certified weighbridges and sampling processes to ensure we fill your orders correctly.

Grass Silage Baling (Square and Round)

With two Round Balers and a Krone 1270 BigPack Square Baler, John Austin Ltd is well equipped to handle your bailage requirements. With Class triple mowers equipped with conditioners and 2 and 4 rotor swathers, our machines are efficient and produce top quality bales. The Goweil Static Wrapper means we are able to cart and stack your square bales wherever will suit best for your farming system. Our Kuhn Balers are equipped to run either bale net or net replacement film plastic.

Hay (Conventional, Square, and Round)

As well as silage, our balers are equipped to make tight hay bales. Our mowers are able to heavily condition grass to help it dry and our tedders ensure we thoroughly dry your hay before baling. We are able to cart and stack your hay from the paddock to your shed if required.
